Book Hoarders Anonymous (BHA) is an online book club hosted here at The Cheap Reader. Too many factors keep me from joining a book club in ‘real life’ so I solved this problem with BHA. More details here.
BHA is a very open and flexible book club. We have
an entire month now we have 2 months to read the pick. You’re welcome to post on the main discussion post, post your own thoughts on your blog, or post a review on your blog! Whatever works for you. Feel free to join every round or just on the round/books that interest you.
Physical books, ebooks, audiobooks are all welcome. Rereads are perfectly fine (some of the books are rereads for me too!). [If you’ve read the book recently, you don’t need to read it again. Feel free to share your thoughts with us!] The books we read (and vote on) are a mixture of classic books and modern books; juvenile and adult; basically a nice variety of what I like to read.
Have any questions? Leave them below.
If you’re new and want to read with us, drop a line below so I know to keep an eye out for you!

Anne of Green Gables! I’ve been wanting to re-read that one. Looking forward to March reading now.

I would definitely be interested in joining this- especially since I love/want to read all of the August choices in the your poll!
Yay! Great to have you on board. Check back next week to see what book wins.
I want to join! September will be my first month. Not sure I can always make it, but I will try and it will be fun to have people to comment and discuss books with – I miss that about English class and these books are probably more fun than what my teachers made me read. 🙂
Great! No need to worry about committing. Just do it when it works for you.
Do you have a blog or twitter?
Yes! http://lostinsidethecovers.wordpress.com and @OCDReader (though I am not too good about checking twitter that often)
Hey! I’ll be joining this month! Looking forward to it! Love our blog, by the way 🙂
Yay! Glad to have you on board. Hope you enjoy the book. It’s pretty awesome! 🙂
Hello! This book club sounds awesome, and I would love to join you guys! Do you have a book going for November?
Hi Amy! No we don’t have a book going right now. We’re on a bit of a Winter break since the holidays are a really busy time for everyone. We’ll likely start back early next year.
I am doing a similar type read along for Anne of Avonlea with a blogging friend in November though. You’re welcome to join in!
Yes, that would be great! Thanks for responding so quickly!
Sounds like a fun book club… I’m up for it 🙂
Hello! I’d love to join this! I’ll start with the June/July Pride & Prejudice, even though I’ve read it at least ten times already
Hooray! Stop back on Saturday. I’ll be posting the main post (where we can leave our thoughts on the book as we read) then.
