Book Hoarders Anonymous

Book Hoarders Anonymous (BHA) is an online book club hosted here at The Cheap Reader. Too many factors keep me from joining a book club in ‘real life’ so I solved this problem with BHA. More details here.

BHA is a very open and flexible book club. We have an entire month  now we have 2 months to read the pick. You’re welcome to post on the main discussion post, post your own thoughts on your blog, or post a review on your blog! Whatever works for you. Feel free to join every round or just on the round/books that interest you.

Physical books, ebooks, audiobooks are all welcome. Rereads are perfectly fine (some of the books are rereads for me too!). [If you’ve read the book recently, you don’t need to read it again. Feel free to share your thoughts with us!] The books we read (and vote on) are a mixture of classic books and modern books; juvenile and adult; basically a nice variety of what I like to read.

Have any questions? Leave them below.

If you’re new and want to read with us, drop a line below so I know to keep an eye out for you!

  5. I want to join! September will be my first month. Not sure I can always make it, but I will try and it will be fun to have people to comment and discuss books with – I miss that about English class and these books are probably more fun than what my teachers made me read. 🙂

    • Hi Amy! No we don’t have a book going right now. We’re on a bit of a Winter break since the holidays are a really busy time for everyone. We’ll likely start back early next year.

I am doing a similar type read along for Anne of Avonlea with a blogging friend in November though. You’re welcome to join in!

What are your thoughts? (Comments are moderated. Yours will be up as soon as I read it!)
