Hello and welcome to Project: Fairy Tale!
Project: Fairy Tale is a fun project hosted by me with the help of many other wonderful bloggers. Each one of us chose a fairy tale to read and then read at least 3 re-tellings or spinoffs of the fairy tale. We’ll be posting reviews of the 4 books we read as well as other things related to our fairy tale during the month. You can read the full details of the project here.
Here’s the FINAL version of the list.

Oh my gosh! There are SO MANY people signed up for this! Great job on organizing this!!!
I know! I had no idea so many people would sign up. Thanks! 🙂 We’ll see how my organization lasts as I update this post with links throughout the month.
So cool, thanks for putting this whole thing together… I’m really excited to do my posts and read everyone else’s!!
Thanks for participating! 🙂
Yay!!! So excited to read all your posts!
What a fun idea! I’m looking forward to seeing what retellings people are able to find for all of these.
Thanks Alita! I can’t wait to see the retellings people chose. Should be fun.
Wow! I can’t believe that it’s already February!
I know! It snuck up on us.
Alison – I sort of suck at this Mr. Linky thing. I accidentally posted two links – the first one I posted not in the format that you requested. I thought I was fixing it to the format that you did request, but apparently, I just posted a second one. Sorry! I hope you can fix it for me? 🙂
That’s fine. I fixed it for you!
One more comment – I was going to tweet my posts using hashtag #projectfairytale. Anyone else using twitter – maybe we can get projectfairytale trending. 🙂
Great idea!
Ugh Alison I’m sorry I got too excited and clicked to post the link before writing that it is a review of Wicked by Gregory Maguire. It won’t happen again!!
That’s fine! I fixed it.
Hey Alison, I just added a link for Jack and the Beanstalk. This list is looking great!
I just added my link for Little Red Riding Hood, and being tech challenged, I’m not sure if I did it right… If it doesn’t work, let me know!
Finally got my original finished – Ivanhoe was a little hard to get through 🙂
Hi friend! I see that my more recent links are up here but my review of Wicked from a few weeks ago isn’t listed. Did I link it up wrong?
Oops! I must have overlooked it while updating the list. Sorry! I’ll fix it ASAP.
Just added my first review; hope to have two more coming up soon!
Yay!
Is it too late to sign up for this?
Yes, sorry. Sign up ended months ago and Project: Fairy Tale will end in a few days.
