Now it’s time to share my favorite books published this year! Here they are in no particular order…
- The Mark of Athena by Rick Riordan
- A World Away by Nancy Grossman
- Partials by Dan Wells
- Bitterblue by Kristin Cashore
- The Future We Left Behind by Mike A. Lancatser
- Freshman Year and Other Unnatural Disasters by Meredith Zeitlin
What were your favorite books published this year?
Pushing the Limits and The Hero’s Guide to Saving Your Kingdom are some of my favorites that were published this year.
I keep hearing about The Hero’s Guide to Saving Your Kingdom. Guess I need to check it out!
Do! It is amazing. The character development is fantastic. The Princes Charming are hilarious. I have a very soft spot for Duncan!! And with Project Fairy Tale it is the perfect time. No Rapunzel in this, though.
I also liked Partials. I read Graceling this year and need to read Fire and Bitterblue.
Have you read Marissa Meyer’s Cinder or Veronica Rossi’s Under the Never Sky? I think both were published this year, and they’re among my favorite reads of 2012.
Yes! You do need to read Fire and Bitterblue. Not as great as Graceling but still enjoyable.
No I haven’t. I did get Cinder for Christmas though. 🙂
I haven’t read Bitterblue! I need to finally!
Yes, yes, yes! It’s awesome to see her as a grown woman.
Thanks for your list. Mine are in the link below.
Happy New Year!!
