Reading Plans

I just started reading A Beautiful Evil last night. I didn’t love the first book but my coworker really enjoyed the series so I’m giving it a shot for her.

I’ll start the Curse of the Wendigo soon. I liked reading the first book (even though it was a bit gruesome. Listening to this one should be…fun.

What I’ve Been Watching

I finally watched Serenity. I never would have thought space westerns would have been interesting but I certainly enjoyed Firefly/Serenity more than I thought.

I’m excited that Downton is back! I caught up with four seasons on DVD last year so this is my first time watching live. It’s been fun talking with my coworkers about the show.

What did you get this past week?
What are you planning on reading this week?

*I’m linking up to Stacking the Shelves hosted by Tynga’s Reviews. I miss seeing all the good books people get! I’m sure my TBR lists doesn’t miss it though.

  1. A Beautiful Evil has a lovely cover! I hope you enjoy it! Btw, if you haven’t read IGNITE by Lily Paradis, you should! And right now it is FREE for kindle 🙂 Thanks for stopping by my blog!

  2. I didn’t get anything this week, because I’m still pretty broke after Christmas.
I’m planning on reading ‘Good Omens’ by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, and then probably finishing ‘A Storm of Swords’. (:

  3. Awww, Serenity. I am sad just thinking about that movie. (I accidentally spoiled it for my friend as we were walking out of Veronica Mars, and I feel awful about it. ALSO too many sad things happen in that movie and I can’t handle it.)

What are your thoughts? (Comments are moderated. Yours will be up as soon as I read it!)
