Acquired Books*

She Dreamed of Dragons by Elizabeth J. M. Walker [review request]

Sisters by Raina Telgemeier [library]

Reading Plans

I started The Quillan Games  by D.J. MacHale  a few days ago. It’s been a while so I decided to visit the Pendragon books again. They’re big books but they move really quick.

After that I’m going to read Sisters! I like Smile so I’m sure Sisters will be just as enjoyable.

What I’ve Been Watching

Last week’s episode of Doctor Who was interesting. I always enjoy the Daleks. I like that the Doctor’s darkness was touched on a bit during the episode. I know that it’s impossible for there to be a good Dalek but we can always hope for one. I’m hoping that the season will explore the Doctor trying to be more hopeful and less angry. The Robin Hood episode was a bit lackluster for me. It was entertaining enough but lacked a lot of development.

My coworker convinced me to watch Happy Valley. It’s a lot more mature and gritty than my normal type of cop shows. I’ve got 2 more episodes to go before I finish it.

I went to see The Giver on Monday since it was a holiday. I have a movie review coming up for it but I was disappointed with the movie as an adaption.

What did you get this past week?
What are you planning on reading this week?

*I’m linking up to Stacking the Shelves hosted by Tynga’s Reviews. I miss seeing all the good books people get! I’m sure my TBR lists doesn’t miss it though.
