Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and The Bookish.
This week’s topic is: Top Ten Favorite Classics
I never thought I would have favorite classics but I have a few.
No surprise that children’s classics dominate my list. 🙂
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett
Winnie-the-Pooh by A. A. Milne
On the Banks of Plum Creek by Laura Ingalls Wilder
Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery
The Princess Bride by William Goldman
The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett
Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury
A lot of these are on my favorites list, too. I love P&P, Emma, Anne of Green Gables. And I have been meaning to read Little Women forever! I seriously need to make time for that one.
You really need to read it! I’ve had it for years but finally read it. It’s very huggable.
There’s nothing wrong with kids books. 🙂 I’ve never actually read Fahrenheit 451, it’s been on my TBR list for a while.
It’s quite good. It was the first classic that I read on my own as an adult. It’s amazing how reading for fun changes how you feel about classics.
Great list. A couple of them made my list too. The Princess Bride and The Secret Garden are ones I wish I had added to the list. My TTT
Excellent choices! I also love Frances Hodgson Burnett, Louisa May Alcott, L. M. Montgomery, Laura Ingalls Wilder, & Jane Austen. 🙂 I really need to read Winnie the Pooh!
It really is cute.
