Top Ten Favorite Classics

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke and The Bookish.

This week’s topic is: Top Ten Favorite Classics

I never thought I would have favorite classics but I have a few.

No surprise that children’s classics dominate my list. 🙂

Emma by Jane Austen

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett

Winnie-the-Pooh by A. A. Milne

On the Banks of Plum Creek by Laura Ingalls Wilder

Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery

The Princess Bride by William Goldman

The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett

Little Women by Louisa May Alcott

Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury

What are some of your favorite classics?

    • It’s quite good. It was the first classic that I read on my own as an adult. It’s amazing how reading for fun changes how you feel about classics.

  1. Excellent choices! I also love Frances Hodgson Burnett, Louisa May Alcott, L. M. Montgomery, Laura Ingalls Wilder, & Jane Austen. 🙂 I really need to read Winnie the Pooh!

What are your thoughts? (Comments are moderated. Yours will be up as soon as I read it!)
