This Week (9)

I’ve got a bit of a slow week planned. I’ve got reviews for “The Tale of Peter Rabbit” by Beatrix Potter and “Mindblind” by Jennifer Roy coming up. There will be a new Hidden in the Shelves post this week. Can I say I love this feature? It’s so fun finding books I loved when I was younger as well as hidden gems. I’m also going to share a book trailer for a book I got last week.

Books acquired this week

Quest One: The Golden Scarab by S.W. Lothian (review request)

Reading Plans

I’m still working on The Lost City of Faar. I’m loving that we get to see more territories in this book. I may end up sticking with the series if I continue to enjoy it like I am right now.

I’m also reading Quest One. At the moment that I’m writing this post, I’m only ~30% in. It finally got to the “good part” (the action) so we’ll see how that goes.

I’ll need to start Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator soon. I already finished Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and really, really enjoyed it. I know for a fact that I’ve never read Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator so I’m excited to start it.

If I get through all of that I think I’d like to read The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe next.

The ‘biggest’ plans for the week are to finish reading for BHA this month so I can write my reviews. I haven’t been able to schedule reviews lately because I didn’t know when I’d finish the books for BHA. Hopefully I can write up some more stuff and schedule it. The next month or so will be a bit busy so it would be nice to not have to worry about posting.

What are your plans for this week? Did you get any good books last week?
