You remember Pottermore don’t you? Things have been pretty slow on the Pottermore front for months now. They will occasionally tweak things we can’t see but won’t open it to the public OR open other areas of Pottermore. Basically nothing exciting.
That’s all come to an end! The Pottermore shop is now open and you can purchase Harry Potter ebooks or audiobooks.
Ebooks range in price from $7.99 (for the earlier books) to $9.99 (for the later books). Audiobooks range in price from $29.99 (for the earlier books) to $44.99 (for the later books).
The ebooks are available in EPUB and Kindle formats so most readers will be able to buy an ebook. For a full list of compatible ereaders, see here. The books are available in English for now but other languages are coming soon.

[I’m not positive but since this is all up and running I believe libraries should be carrying the HP ebooks and audiobooks soon. Check your library for details.]
