This book is difficult to give a summary on. There are no words. The story is told completely through pictures. That idea enticed me to read(?) it.

The general summary of the book is a man leaves behind his wife and daughter to move to a different country to find work. While looking for work, he encounters other immigrants who tell him their stories of how they got there.

This book was nothing like I thought it would be. It actually takes place on a foreign planet [or what would seem like one to a foreigner]? The strange animals, foods, symbols, and buildings threw me off for a while.

Even though the world is bizarre, it’s very easy to follow the story.

The pictures are beautiful.

As far as graphic novels go, this is pretty good. I would have liked some words to explain the strange things going on. Pick it up if you’re a fan of graphic novels.
