Hollywood is always looking towards literature for inspiration for movies. Here’s just a snippet of what you can look forward to seeing on the big screen soon.
Anna Karenina- November 9, 2012
The Perks of Being a Wallflower- September 14, 2012
Les Miserables- December 7, 2012
The Hobbit- December 14, 2012
I’m most likely missing something. What are you excited to see?
I didn’t know there was going to be a Anna Karenina movie! It looks really good too- I’m excited!
I didn’t either! I just stumbled across it trying to figure out what book->movies are coming out soon.
I can’t wait to see Anna Karenina and The Hobbit!! I hope the movies are as good as the books…
I can’t WAIT to watch The Hobbit! So GOOD! You missed The Great Gatsby though.
I had a hard time reading Fellowship of the Ring but The Hobbit does look good. D’oh! I knew I was missing something.
Man, I’m still only about halfway through Anna Karenina. I was actually enjoying it but got so easily distracted by other things. I’ll have to read it before the movie comes out!
Hurry up! That way you can say you read it before the movie.
I should! I actually own a copy too… YA took over! lol
I am SO EXCITED about Les Miserables! I adore the book and the musical and even the movie with Liam Neeson. Really looking forward to this new adaptation.
Also keen to see Anna Karenina, although I didn’t know it was being done until I saw this post.
I didn’t know most of these were done until I started compiling this. Great to see so many classics.
