The Book: I’m finishing up Odder Than Ever by Bruce Coville. It’s pretty good so far. Like most short story collections there are stories that I’ve really enjoyed and others not so much. I will likely post a review tomorrow.
I’m thinking of moving on to Peter and the Starcatchers or Redwall next.
The Tea: My friend gave me some Earl Grey Lavender tea from Rishi a few weeks ago. She keeps raving about how good it was so I’ve been eager to try it. The ridiculously hot weather we’ve been having has made hot tea pretty unappetizing. I woke up this morning to cloudy, overcast, cool(er) weather so I decided to make the tea. It’s pretty good. It’s not super lavender-y which is good. It just smells like it but doesn’t taste like it.
Do they go together? Ehhhh, not really. The short stories are pretty juvenile and I don’t know of any kids that drink hot tea.
